Winter Review 2019

The winter months December - February have continued to be really busy for TalkThrough. Here is a quick summary of all that happened this month:

  • 13 Days consultancy for a charity on (1) a new national wellbeing and missional resource (2) design and content concepts re: a new national visitor attraction connected to mission.

  • 2 Days consultancy for an Anglican Diocese.

  • Attended a Mental Health discussion at Lambeth Palace

  • Preached at 5 Church Services, Lydbrook Baptist Church, Coleford Baptist Church, Gorsley Baptist Church and Forest Gate Church

  • Attended and delivered 2 seminars at the Fresh Streams Conference in Swanwick in partnership with Wellbeing Renew and Sanctuary Ministries in Canada

  • Delivered a days training for students at South West Youth Ministries in Torquay

  • Attended 2 x meetings of the Diocese of Gloucester Youth Life Priority Group

  • Delivered the Youth Workers Guide to Mental Health and Well-being workshop at Leytonstone

  • Training morning for Frontier Youth Trust London region.

  • Dealt with 4 pastoral enquirers for help and support for young people.

  • Met with the Director Of Counselling at TICplus.

  • Numerous telephone conversations with charity / organisational leaders.

  • Wrote an article for Association of Christian Counsellors Magazine.

  • Attended a book launch at Church House Westminster

  • Met with the Youth Officer for the Diocese of Worcester.

  • Met with Sunflower Suicide Support

  • Delivered ‘When Faith and Crisis Meet Seminar at Hillview Church, Gloucester.

  • Outline for 3 new courses launching in April 2019.
