Aim for the Day

The church is one of the largest youth work providers in the UK and ideally placed to reach and support those young people.

1 in 8 young people in the UK have a diagnosed Mental health problem and they are often struggling to get the help they need. The Essential Guide to Mental Health and Wellbeing in Young People is designed to equip you to be the help young people need.

The day is open to any one who would like to know more about the subject and discover how to practically support young people. Some of the sessions will include content from a Christian faith perspective. It is therefore ideal for parents, paid and volunteer youth workers, church leaders, chaplains or other professionals working with young people within a faith context, perspective or background. However the day is open to all and will be useful to anyone from different faiths or none.

The day workshop takes in all three of our mental health workshops.
